Hi, I'm Ashley Poelhuis, certified Nutrition Coach, Prenatal/Postnatal Trainer.
After giving birth to my son as an expat in a country not my own, my eyes were opened to the vast differences in postnatal care, the greatest void being any information or instruction nutrition and the impact it has on the mother's healing body. As a health and nutrition coach for over 10 years, I was able to apply my experience and knowledge to my own postpartum experience, allowing my diet and whole health lifestyle habits to aid and accelerate my healing. I was confronted by the reality that such critical information was not being prioritized in every woman's care postpartum.
I have made it my mission to ensure that this knowledge is available to every mother who seeks it out. Using rituals and nutrition practices passed down for generations before us, I support mothers through education, nutrition information, lifestyle design strategies, and gentle encouragement to help make the postpartum season one of deep healing and empowerment as mothers transition into this powerful new season of life.

My Approach
My coaching approach follows the five basic posptartum needs of Nourishing Food, Rest, Loving Touch, Companionship, and being in Nature. These five basic needs have been witnessed in cultures all over the world and directly impact a mother's wellbeing, healing, as well as promoting feelings of stability and security during the uncertain weeks and months postpartum.
